Rushda Hakim

Rushda Hakim has spent over a decade at the very top of the global luxury design industry — designing penthouses overlooking Central Park, multi-million dollar townhouses, Hamptons estates, and Miami residences for some of the world’s most recognizable names. Her celebrity clients have included Bella Hadid & The Weeknd, Kim & Kanye, and Wendi Murdoch to name a few.

Before founding her own studio, Rushda spent seven years as Design Director at Interior Marketing Group — New York’s most prestigious luxury real estate design and staging firm, and the largest of its kind in the United States. At IMG, she led the design of some of the most coveted properties in the world: multimillion-dollar penthouses, landmark townhouses, and high-profile developer projects across NYC, the Hamptons, and South Florida — including prestigious addresses such as 15 Central Park West, 70 Vestry Street, and One57.

Earlier in her career, Rushda also trained at the renowned Foley & Cox Interiors, and has consulted as an interior stylist in Living Etc magazine. Her work has been featured in multiple Architectural Digest editions across the world — including Architectural Digest India — and she has been named one of the best minimalist designers by Architectural Digest Pro.

Her design philosophy is rooted in layered minimalism — the belief that restraint, when executed with intention, is the most powerful statement a space can make. Every project is conceived as a complete environment, where architecture, material, light, and texture come together not just to look beautiful, but to shape how a space feels to live in every single day.

The studio has since expanded to Mumbai, where Rushda is now based. She continues to work with clients in New York, the Hamptons, Miami, and beyond — and is now accepting projects across India and internationally.
